HOSTELS: Travelling – iconic and communicative

A new traveller’s trend conquers the world: It’s cult and communication that counts, not just luxury. Hostels become the international meeting point for globetrotters. A rough 50 per cent share of the guests does not consist – as one would expect – of young backpacking tourists but rather thirty-somethings with convenient trolleys.

They are people who love travelling and appreciate communicative experiences and exchange – former InterRail travellers who are looking for a direct contact with the country, the people and fellow travellers. The hostel is the central contact point – an integrated international pub acts as a meeting point. Other features which make hostels an attractive choice are their good connection to transport, their often unusual location and the cheap price – cult and communication included!
