PASCHING/LINZ - Plus City: Expansion of the shopping temple par excellence (since 2004)
The Plus City in Pasching near Linz is a shopping centre par excellence: 6m annual visitors of the shopping temple at the edge of Upper Austria's capital, 2m annual visitors of the connected cinema centre “Hollywood megaplex”. Over 1.400 people work on an area of 43.000m² in altogether 160 enterprises. The sales area was expanded by 25.000m² in September 2004, which makes PlusCity Austria's second largest shopping centre.
The successful record of the 40(!) gastronomical enterprises proves that gastronomes don't have to dread competition thanks to the impressive number of visitors per year. Despite the impressive dimensions, ambiente has nevertheless been taken care of: Visitors of Plus City can take a break in the middle of the scenery of the Venetian Markusplatz at the food court of the centre and enjoy their spare time.
